PHOS-CHeK G75 Fire Retardants
PHOS-CHeK G75 Fire Retardants are highly soluble powders that mix readily with water by recirculation, agitation or PHOS-CHeK eductor-mixer system. PHOS- CHeK G75 fire retardant solutions are low viscosity gum thickened, minimizing drift and evaporation and providing highly effective and accurate drop characteristics from safe drop heights. They are ideal for application by SEATS, helicopter buckets, and ground equipment. The elastic nature of the thickener in PHOS-CHeK retardants facilitates increased fuel coverage, wrap around and penetration through canopy and ladder fuels to ground vegetation.
PHOS-CHeK G75-F provided maximum visibility but fades to an earth tone after exposure to sunlight. This prevents permanent staining in sensitive areas. G75-W is uncolored making ideal for ground applications.
PHOS-CHeK G75 Fire Retardants are qualified by the USDA Forest Service for use in fixed-wing air tankers, helicopters with buckets and ground operations. G75 is ideal for use in helicopters buckets, single engine air tankers (SEATS) and ground engines. G75 in either uncolored or fugitive colored formulations are ideal for suppression, prevention, and control of prescribed burning.

PHOS-CHeK Fire Retardants are used for wildland fire control in forest, brush or grassland. Functionally, PHOS-CHeK Retardants react with and alter the decomposition of wildland fuels so that they do not support flaming or glowing combustion. This deprives the fire of fuel reducing fire intensity and the rate of flame spread. When used for management of prescribed burning, fire intensity can be controlled while slow burning continues.
Phos-Chek Australia maintains an inventory of G75F in pails. This lower viscosity product is much easier to pump with ground equipment, yet still adheres well to vegetation. As helicopters travel at less speed than fixed wing aircraft, this product can still withstand the wind sheer and build the retardant line. Our robust pails prevent moisture from entering and ensure the product is as good as the day it was made.
